Moots yoots enjoying the Ronde
We start 'em young here at Moots so plunking 6-month old TS Alford down in front of the Ronde was a natural on a snowy wet Steamboat Sunday. It can take a while for the new bike race fan to learn to follow all the intricacies of Pro level bike racing, the strategies and team work. Fortunately the Tour of Flanders was more of a straight up slugfest this year with Stijn Devolder plain refusing to be reeled in even when the peloton pulled back his original break. Having big 'Tommeke' sitting on the chasers wheels sealed the race for Quickstep. TS Alford signalled his general approval by drooling all over himself, in homage no doubt to the suffering of the Belgian hardmen in a classic edition of the Ronde. Bring on Roubaix!

The image looks just like a video trainer game I couldn’t keep up even on a trainer with/out ANY resistance. Amazing race I was on the edge of my seat (couch cushion) the whole time.
Stijn is the man, the only rider that looked as strong on the early climbs was his teammate Boonen. Had he been caught, Boonen would have gone off and won for sure.
