Every morning I sit at my desk picking at the emails that have sprouted overnight. My desk faces the open door of the sales floor, leading to the stairwell. Reliably, the third person to come upstairs every day is Caleb Franklin, lead finisher turned welder. Caleb is putting away his lunch for the day- which almost always includes cheese and crackers, and he’s followed by his ‘Short Tailed African Cougar Hound’ Luther –my favorite shop dog.

NAHBS 2010……
The North American Hand Built Bicycle Show lands in Richmond Virginia this year. Moots will be on hand for its 3rd NAHBS in 3 years. This gets our show and travel season underway with a fun filled, craft filled bicycle show. If you can attend you will not be disappointed. This show brings together the best hand built bicycles in the world. Moots will have a quiver of handbuilit, finely crafted bicycles on hand that span our range of Road, Mountain, Cross and specialty builds. In addition to the show our very own Butch Boucher will be giving a NAHBS Seminar on all things titanium at 11:45 am on Saturday in one of the outer halls of the convention center. OH YEAH BUTCH!!!!!
I had hopes to make the show and see Butch’s seminar but sadly I’m scheduled to work that weekend and unable to get free until Sunday. If you all roll the Moots Sprinter through Nashville, give a shout and we’ll treat ya to the Yazoo Tap Room for some local pints!
What if some of us Moots owners can’t make it to Richmond, but want to stop by the booth...got something for us???
